Located in a beautiful valley in Big Sandy Mush, NC, Kestrel Herb Farm is named after the small falcon friends who visit the fields. Farmers and owners Katie and Mike specialize in growing an extensive variety of culinary, medicinal, and aromatic herbs. The farm is a serene sanctuary that is home to a wide range of herbs.

Katie and Mike’s commitment to sustainable and regenerative agriculture mean that all of their herbs are grown without the use of chemicals or synthetic sprays. Their passion for their craft and the celebratory energy they add to their herbs is apparent in the beautiful bounty they produce.
