An absolutely delightful chocolate mint tea inspired by the Northern Lights that graced us with her beauty this fall. After Hurricane Helene hit, we were still without power or water and the Aurora Borealis lit up the Appalachian Mountains and draped a kaleidoscope of color across our landscape. It was a moment of beauty and hope in the mist of destruction, chaos, heartbreak, and grief. 

As for the tea itself, it is a scent-sational and tea-licious chocolate-mint Herbal Tea that starts with a base of cacao husks from French Broad Chocolates and honeybush tea from Gathering Place Trading, and then old-timey (tasting and smelling) Mountain Mint is added to create a tea that is very reminisce of chocolate mint candy that was on the coffee table at your Grandma's. Finished with spring redbud flowers, echinacea petals, and beautiful blue cornflowers to add a sprinkle of color and light to this dark, rich tea.
