Enough is enough. We're closed today, January 30th, 2026

We're joining the nationwide day of no school, no work, and no shopping by closing our website today, Friday, January 30. 

Because food is never just food. Spices, recipes, and traditions exist because of immigration. 

For almost 250 years, people seeking opportunity and refuge have come to the US in pursuit of a better life. And they, thankfully, brought their beautiful cultures (and flavors) with them. Immigration has shaped our economic development, cultural diversity, and the richness of who we are today. 

At Well Seasoned Table, we support that pursuit, no matter where you’re from or what you look like. We believe every person deserves a life rooted in care and belonging. A life that is abundant with love and grounded in peace. 

That’s why what we are witnessing in Minneapolis and in our communities across the country right now feels so deeply wrong. We support people exercising their constitutional right to protest and make their voices heard. Peace cannot exist where people are silenced, harmed, or ignored. 

So we join businesses, students, and consumers all around the country in a national shutdown of protest. Our website is closed today, January 30, and we encourage you to participate in the shutdown however you can. If you must purchase things, please shop small and shop local! We love you and we'll see you soon.
