If you love chocolate mousse, this dessert is for you. Whether it's for an easy weeknight post-dinner dessert, or something a little whimsical and decadent to serve at a dinner party, these liquid truffles are real crowd pleasers.
The high quality semi-sweet cocoa powder in our Wild Reishi Hot Chocolate makes this mixture just sing. Add to that the health benefits of wild reishi mushrooms, and you've got a stunning sweet treat!
With only two ingredients and less than 30 minutes of cook time, this will become a regular in your dessert rotation. It is in ours!
In sauce pan, add both ingredients.
Over medium high heat, whisk ingredients until incorporated. Bring to a boil.
Turn the temp to medium to prevent scorching but to keep the liquid at a rolling simmer. (not a full boil)
Simmer, whisking periodically to prevent sticking, for about 20 minutes.
As the liquid thickens, look for a thicker, creamier consistency, and for the liquid to coat the back of a spoon without just running off.
Pour into small individual ramekins or bigger dessert cups.
Refrigerate for at least two hours but preferably overnight. Serve and enjoy!
