Turn our Blue Ridge Sugar—made with lavender, lemon, and blueberry mash from Asheville's Devil's Foot Beverage—into a super refreshing, eye-catching lemonade by first making a quick simple syrup, then adding lemon juice and diluting with water to taste. Three ingredients, two steps, one delicious summer beverage...yes please!
And if you're looking for an easy yet impressive-looking cocktail for a crowd, try combining Blue Ridge Lemonade with vodka, gin, or tequila and serve in a pitcher alongside plenty of ice (sugar-rimmed glasses optional but highly recommended).
1 cup Blue Ridge Sugar
1 cup plus 3 cups water, divided
1 cup lemon juice
Combine Blue Ridge Sugar with 1 cup water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar, then let cool completely. (Transfer to a new container and refrigerate to speed up the process.)
To make lemonade, combine Blue Ridge simple syrup, lemon juice, and remaining 3 cups water in a pitcher and stir well, adding more water to taste. Serve chilled.
